In 2021, I have worked closely together with Vesterheim in Iowa, which is one of the largest American organizations working to disseminate knowledge about Scandinavian language, cooking, crafts and art – including paper cut.
In light of COVID-19, Vesterheim’s dissemination activities have become online, and by 2021 the organization has had over 2,500 online students from around the world.
It has been incredibly exciting to be a part of this journey, and last Saturday I did the last of a series of online activities with Vesterheim in 2021. On the photo you see a screenshot from the workshop, which had participants from a large number of US states. It was “hygge” and the participants made some very nice paper cuts.
